Union of Churches in Japan.—lt is expected that Protestant Church union in Japan will take place late this year, to commemorate the two thousand six hundredth anniversary of the Japanese Empire, says a report of the JDomei News Agency published in the “Outlook,” the Presbyterian weekly, Japanese Christians Have decided that “Japanese ; Christianity must conform to the spirit of the times. All foreign control or influence is. to be eliminated and .all denominations will be welded into one national Church vfith vfhich the .Gov-, eminent can' deal easily and effective ly." “
