AIR CADET CORPS
-—♦ AUSTRALIAN SCHEME APPROVED SYDNEY, April 29. To ensure a regular flow of young men into the Royal Australian' Air Force, plans have been approved by the Air Board for the establishment of an air cadet corps for youths aged 16 to 18. Organised into squadrons, the corps will operate in city arid country areas and in the schools. The cadets will receive only ground instruction. It is expected that about 70,000 youths will join the corps.
