WAIMATE COUNTY FINANCES
REPORT TO COUNCIL MEETING
Mr J. Bitchener presided at the monthly meeting of the Waimate County Council yesterday. The finance committee’s report showed that the balance at the bank in April, 1941, was a credit of £3071 16s 9d, compared with a credit balance of £2642 15s lid in April, 1940. Acounts presented totalled £4861 18s 2d, and the receipts since last meeting amounted to £7092 2s 2d. In the Lower Waihao Water Race Account the credit balance at the bank in April, 1941, was £156 13s Id, compared with a credit of £371 18s Id in April, 1940. The accounts presented totalled £37 7s sd.
