Plantations Board Revenue—The revenue from utilisation operations of the Selwyn Plantations Board for the last year reached record proportions. Details were given to the board at its meeting yesterday. The figures for 1940-41 follow, with those for 1939-40 given in parenthesis:—Milling, 2,611,849 super feet (2,268,747 super feet); royalty, £3921 (£3525); firewood cut, 1095 cords (1743 cords); sold, 1540 (1771); stakes cut, 34,349 (13,835); sold, 34,381 (15,375); props ut, 2072 (—); sold, 2028 (—). The table shows an increase for the last financial year in all operations except firewood. The loss in firewood revenue, however, was substantially offset by the very : marked increase from other products.
