MOUNTED UNITS IN CAMP
TERRITORIAL TRAINING AT BURNHAM Mounted rifle units from all parts of the South Island entered camp at Burnham yesterday for three months’ territorial, training. The units comprised the 3rd New Zealand Mounted Rifle Brigade, of which Colonel L. C. Chaytor, M.C., V.D., is in command. Major H. G. Livingstone, V.D., is brigade major, and Captain F. H. Grace, N.Z.T.S., is staff captain. Officers in command of the various units are as follows:—Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry, Lieutenant-Colonel L. R. C. Macfarlane, M.C., V.D., Otago Mounted Rifles, Lieutenant-Colonel O. L. Ferens. E.D.; Nelson-Marlborough Mounted Rifles, Lieutenant-Colonel A. C. Nathan, V.D.
