RED CROSS SHOP
To-morrow (Friday), the Red Cross Shop in Strange’s Building. High street, near Ashby, Bergh’s, will be in the charge of the Cashmere Hills SuoCentre of the Red Cross. The convener will be Mrs J. F. Cracroft Wilson. .... , The usual stock of fresh food, cakes, jams, a ton of meat, antique tapestry chair, plants, flowers, vegetables, and groceries, etc., will be on sale, A large number of surprise packets will be sold at Is, and some of these will contain orders for such things as a permanent hair wave, shampoo, and set, coal, electric grillers, cushions, luncheon and theatre tickets. A special feature will be the (Forfar Bradies) pies which will be on sale from 10 a.m. till 12 noon.
