LYNOHUBST The June meeting of the Lyndhurst Women’s Institute was held in the hall, Mrs Gilmour (president presided. Red Cross sewing was distributed to members. . Mrs A. H. Sandrey (Highbank) gave a talk on her trip through Switzerland, and showed several photographs of the country. Mrs Sandrey and Miss A. Sandrey judged the competitions, with the following results:—Girdle scones, Mrs A. C. Gadd 1, Mrs B. Limbrick 2, Miss N. Woolley 3; hot water-bottle cover. Mrs R. Dunkley 1, Miss N. Woolley 2, Miss Rowe 3; bloom, Mrs O. Symes 1, Mrs B. Limbrick 2, Mrs F. Henderson 3; jar of flowers, Mrs McKendfy 1, Mrs E. Dunkley 2, Miss N. Woolley 3. HAMPSTEAD At a mee'ting of the Hampstead Women’s Institute, Mrs H. Flatman presided. Mrs A- H. Sandrey (Highbank) gave a talk on her travels in Europe. Competition winners , were:—Prettiest kettleholder, Mesdames S. Freddy 1, A. Sutton 2, J. Hunt, jun., 3; jar pears, Mesdames S. Freddy 1, Edmonston 2, S. Wilson 3; everlasting flowers, Mrs J.'Smith 1; premier bloom, Mesdames Housten 1, J. Smith 2, Morten 3.
