LITTLE RIVER DOMAIN BOARD
The first meeting of the newly-ap-pointed Little River Domain Board was held in the Library. Present were Messrs W- H. Montgomery, J. Chapman, ,H. Lewthwaite, A. V. Hutchinson. Mr Montgomery was elected chairman, and Mr Chapman deputychairman. A grant was made to the Star Tennis Club of £8 for top-dressing two courts. The! Maori court.at the Little River. Tennis Club has been top-dressed and the Domain Board will also contribute towards this. The chairman reported that all necessary carpentering to the buildings and fences 'on the Domain /had been done and tenders were received for painting all buildings, fences and seats iri the domain. The tender of Mr Crofts for £64 was accepteW.
