SEVEN killed by LIGHTNING
SEVERE STORM IN LONDON SUBURBS LONDON, August 21. Seven persons were killed and 18 were injured when a shed in a park at Ilford was struck by, lightning during an exceptionally severe thunderstorm over the London suburbs.A boy investigating screams from the shed found 30 people heaped on the floor, some of them unconscious. One woman Was clasping two children. ■ Floods and power failures delayed rail and trolley-bus .services.
