BANDIT RAID IN MANCHUKUO
FOREST GUARDS ATTACKED (Received March 21, 8 p.m.) TOKYO, March 20. It is officially announced that 300 “Communist bandits” attacked Manchukuo forest guards, and looted their headquarters. They killed four, wounded six, and kidnapped 23 of the guards. Sixteen of the bandits were killed. The authorities have organised a large punitive expedition.
