SCHOOL JUBILEE AT NEW BRIGHTON
The treasurer»reported to a meeting of the New Brighton School Jubilee Committee that £35 5s had been received to date, and that the balance in hand was £l9 9s Id. Reports showed that satisfactory progress had been made with the arrangements. Miss E. E. Innes reported that while there were plenty of photographs of the three later lecades in the school’s history, there was a shortage of those of the first two decades, and it was hoped that anyone knowing of the whereabouts of any pictures of this earlier period would communicate with the headmaster (Mr F. W. Moore). Miss Innes also reported that of the 7000 names of those on the earlier registers, 1565 had been traced, and communicated with about the celebration.
