MIDDAY MUSICAL RECITAL
Midday musical recitals at Canterbury University College, which are free, will be resumed to-day. A recital will be given in the college hall at 1.20 p.m., those contributing to the programme being Misses Louise Croucher and Irene Beck (violin). Dr. J. C. Bradshaw (pianoforte), and Mr H. W. Findlay (vocalist). PERRY BROTHERS’ CIRCUS + Those who attend Perry Bros.’ Circus, which is now at Christchurch, will see a most entertaining performance and one which is in the best tradition of the sawdust ring. Complete with its menagerie, performing animals, acrobats, and clowns, the circus never loses its appeal either for young dr old.
