MAGISTRATE’S COURT

TUESDAY (Before Mr E. C. Lewey, S.M.) REMANDED Edward Clarence Brimfield, labourer, aged 47, and William Jack Bowes, contractor, aged 33, were each charged with stealing on July 19 two sacks of certified white clover seed, valued at £35. the property of J. Montgomery and Company. On an application by the police the accused were remanded to Monday, August 1. Mr M. W. Simes, for Bowes, asked for bail, which was granted in self £2OO and one surety of £2OO. FURTHER CHARGES PENDING William Henry Culverhouse Webber, labourer, aged 32, was charged with wilful and obscene exposure. A remand was granted to August 1.
