Special prizes awarded were:— Messrs Robilllard and and Son's silver cup, district dog and owner, scoring most points in Class 1, won outright by J. Harmer; Mr R., C. Todhunter’s silver cup, winner of Class 3 (open), H. White’s Laddie; Mrs F. W. Fagan’s silver cup, district dog scoring most points in Classes 1 and 2. won outright by W. F. Ross's Toby, 69 points; Mr A. E. Henderson’s cup for nest two-dog team in Class 1,2, and 3. the property of one owner, H. White’s Gale and Laddie, 104 points; Mrs W. G. Ross’s silver cup for competitor scoring most points at the trials with dogs that never won, first or second prize in open events before the start of trials, district competitors only, J. Raddcliffe, 114 points; Mr J. R. Todhunter’s cup to county rausterer' gaining most points, J. Reuse, 93 points; Messrs Todhunter and Morrow’s cup to competitor competing at Methven and Mayfield trials and scoring highest aggregate, W. Ross, 373 points; Mr A. N. Grigg’s cup for dog scoring highest aggregate points. at Mayfield and Methven, J. H. Patterson’s Roy; Mr W. J. HaUlday’s trophy for best team of three dogs, R. Wilson’s Fly, Hope, and Jock; Mr T. S. Harrison’s trophy for district competitor contributing most prize money, J. Logan; Methven Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s trophy to competitor scoring most points and not winning any other prize of same or greater value. J. H. Patterson; National Mortgage and Agency Company’s trophy to oldest married competitor (county), E. McLennan; Mr J. Hammer’s trophy to county competitor scoring most points and not winning any other prize of the same or greater value, J. Raddclifi’e; Mr F. W. Fagan's hard luck prize to competitor scoring fewesir points with not less than three entries, D. Middleton; Mr W. F. Ross’s .trophy to runnerup to Mr A. N. Grigg’s trophy, W. F. Ross’s Toby; Mr A. Dickin’s special to competitor supporting largest family (district), D. Middleton; Mr F. Quested’s trophy to dog scoring most points for heading classes 1 and 2, G. Hood’s Tan, H. White’s Gale, and W. Ross’s Toby (equal).
