NEW VALUES IN COUNTY
OBJECTIONS HEARD AT ASHBURTON Several objections to the new values placed on farms after the rei valuation c£ the Ashburton County last year, were heard by officers of the Valuation Department at Ashburton yesterday. The revaluation was carried out by the Valuation Department and the notices were posted to land owners some weeks ago. The decrease in the value over .the whole county was, £1.126,597, representing a reduction of 11 per cent. The total new value is now £9,706,141, compared with the old value of £10,832,738.
