NUNNELEY CASKET
CHALLENGE WITHDRAWN
Canterbury will not be challenged again this season for the Kathleen Nunneley Casket, with which goes the virtual championship of New Zealand In women’s tennis. The Southern Zone team which was to have challenged has withdrawn, because Miss D. Miller, of Oamaru. who reached the final of the New Zealand singles championship this season, is not available. The match was to have been played on April 1 and 2. The Canterbury-Otago match set down for play at Dunedin on April 9 will now be played on April 2.
