WORK BEFORE THE HOUSE

* _ Only One Major Measure ALSATIAN DOG BILL MAY BE DEALT WITH [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.! WELLINGTON, March 6. Although the present part of the Parliamentary session will apparently be short, it is anticipated that the opportunity will be taken to dispose of a good deal of miscellaneous legislation that is not likely to engage the attention of the House for any length of time. The postponement of the measures dealing with national superannuation and health insurance has created a situation of which the Ministers are said to be anxious to take advantage to bring in various minor bills which have been awaiting attention for some time- , „ When the House of Representatives resumes on Tuesday members will be asked to continue consideration of the Pensions Amendment Bill which was read a second time before the House adjourned for the week-end on Friday.
