The New Zealanders fared badly, losing all the singles and the doubles matches against New South Wales. Results:— Singles Miss Hattersley (N.S.W.) beat Miss Douthett (N.Z.), 6-0, 6-1; Mrs Morgan (N.S.W.) beat Miss Hodges (N.Z.), 7-5, 6-4; Miss Selwyn (N.S.W.) beat Miss Beverley (N.Z.), 6-2, 6-2; Miss Rice (N.S.W.) beat Miss Cooke (N.Z.), 4-6, 6-4, 6-3; Miss Stebling (N.S.W.) beat Miss Armstrong (N.Z.), 8-6, 6-8, 6-1; Miss Vickery (N.S.W.) beat Miss Wilson (N.Z.), 6-4, 6-1. Doubles Misses Selwyn and Hattersley (N.S.W.) beat Misses Beverley and Douthett (N.Z.) 6-1, 6-1; Miss Vickers and Mrs Morgan (N.S.W.) beat Misses Armstrong and Wilson (N.Z.), 6-4, 6-3; Misses Rice and Stebling (N.S.W.) beat Misses Cooke and Hodges (N.Z.), 6-4, 6-3.
