RECORD PARACHUTE JUMP?
PARIS, March 4. An airman jumped from an aeroplane at a height of 27,550 feet, and delayed the opening of his parachute until within 1046 feet of the ground. The intervening distance of 26,504 feet was covered in 2 minutes 20 seconds. It is claimed to be <a world record.
