DETECTING FALSE ALARMS
♦ EFFECTIVE USE OF DEVICE IN WELLINGTON (PBESB ASSOCIATION TILEGEAM.) WELLINGTON, March 5. The effectiveness of the fire brigade’s apparatus for tracing malicious alarms was indicated to-day, when two children so traced were charged in the Children’s Court. Both were discharged after an admonition by the Magistrate (Mr J. G. L. Hewitt).
