CLAIM AGAINST DOCTOR FAILS

By a three-fourths majority verdict, a jury hearing an action in which Mrs Alice Darlington, of Waihi, a widow, claimed a total of £Bl5 damages from Dr. Archibald Jenkins and the Thames Hospital Board, found in favour of the defendants. The action occupied eight days, and the jury deliberated for six and a half hours. , . , Mrs Darlington claimed damages, alleging neglect and careless treatment of her by Dr. Jenkins during the period she was in the Waihi Hospital, suffering from a broken thigh and a broken wrist. The allegation was denied. _______________
