♦ CHRISTCHURCH CLUB’S RACE The Christchurch Model Yacht Club held its thirteenth club race for the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake. Ten boats sailed in a light northerly wind. The following were the results: — First Heat—H. J. Bowlker’s Kawhal (handicap 3mln 30sec) 1; P. Smith's Tui (3min 50sec), 2; H. E. Laycock’s Ruth (4min 20sec), 3; W. Beauchamp’s,Avenger (3min 40sec), 4; E. Hodge’s Linnet (4min 30sec), 5. Time. 36min. Second Heat—Tui 1. R. C. Munro’s Dolphin (scr) 2, R. Reid’s Banshee (3min lOsec) 3, B. Wall’s Invader (3min 30sec) 4, Kawhal 5. Time, 33min 20sec. Pinal—Tui, 13 points. 1; Kawhal. 9 points. 2; Dolphin. 5 points, 3; Ruth and Banshee, 3 points each, 4.
