U.S. MANOEUVRES IN PACIFIC
* GREATEST SECRECY OBSERVED (Received February 24, 7.5 p.m.) February 23. Mr Roosevelt has intensified the secrecy surrounding the United States manoeuvres in the Pacific next month. Reporters and photographers have been banned. This coincides with the decision to extend the manoeuvres to the far south-west Pacific, for the first time in the neighbourhood of Japanese mandates.
