♦ SANDERS CUP CONTEST Mr Nigel Blair, skipper, and the other members of the Wellington crew for the Sanders Cup contest, will arrive at Lyttelton on Sunday morning and will spend the day in the port, leaving for Dunedin by the night express. They will be entertained by local yachtsmen during the day. Canterbury Regatta
,At a further, meeting of the Canterbury Regatta Committee, held on Tuesday night, Mr R. S. Beveridge presided. The auxiliary ketch Wairangi, owned by Mr W. R. Carey, was chosen as flagship for the regatta. It was reported that, in addition to the swimming events, an exhibition of life saving would be given. Collectors were appointed to solicit donations from those in Christchurch interested in the regatta.
