MORGAN PENNANT MATCHES
Following is the draw for matches in the North Canterbury Cricket SubAssociation’s Morgan pennant competition on^Saturday:— Division A—Kaiapoi A v. Eyreton, at Kaiapoi;, Woodend B v. Kaiapoi B, at Woodend; Woodend A, a bye. Division B—Loburn v. Rangiora A, at Loburn; Rangiora B v. Amber ley, at Rangiora. FAREWELL AT KAIKOURA MEMBER OF WOMEN’S CIRCLE HONOURED
A very pleasant evening was spent at the home of Mrs N. R. Comer by the Kaikoura Women’s Circle and friends to say good-bye to Mrs E. J. Anstiss, who is leaving this week to live in Christchurch. Progressive euchre was played, the winners being Mrs H. J. Wilkinson (Christchurch) and Mr G. Anstiss. Consolation prizes were won by Mrs Andrew Stewart and Mr Gavin Stove, During the evening, Mrs H. C. Osmond expressed regret at the departure of Mrs Anstiss, and wished her all happiness and prosperity. On behalf of the members present she asked Mrs Anstiss to accept a doulton bowl. Mrs Anstiss thanked the members f° r their gift.
