SOCIAL AND PERSONAL
Mr and Mrs James Grant (Gray's Hills) have returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mr and Mrs Myres and family, formerly of Fairview, have taken up residence in Timaru.
Miss Loo Cartwright (Orbell street), who was the guest of Mrs F. Thorpe (Fairlie), has returned home. Mr and Mrs J. H. Pearson (Lawrence), and Mrs J. Pearson, who were the guests of Mrs Miller (Hassall street), have returned south. Mr and Mrs C. L. Orbell (Pentlow) and the Misses Orbell hnve returned from a visit to Christchurcb. Mrs Gladstone Robinson (Beverley House) left on Saturday on a visit to Mrs Watson Shennon (Dunedin). Mr T. Wigley and Miss Pat Wigley (Dunstan Downs) are staying with Mrs A, Wigley ("Opuha Lodge," Park lane),
