A WORD-BUILDING COMPETITION
To ensure the success of its annual beach carnival, which will be opened on Boxing Day, the New Brighton Municipal Band has already begun to make preliminary arrangements. A feature of this year’s activities is the holding of a word-building competition, for which the first of a series of advertisements appears in “The Press” this morning. The result of this interesting competition will be made known about the middle of next month, and the winner will receive £lO.
