CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES
“Adam And Fallen Man” is the subject of the Lesson-sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, tomorrow.
The Golden Text is “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh proflteth nothing.” (John 6:63). Among the citations which comprise the Lesson-sermon are the following from the Bible: “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had
formed.” (Genesis 2:8). The Lesson-sermon also contains the following passage from the Christian Science Textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy: “Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material living, is the Life divine, revealing spiritual understanding and the consciousness of man’s dominion over the whole earth.”
