M’CREADY AND WOODS TO MEET
“Jolting” Joe Woods, the man who contested the final of the New Zealand world wrestling elimination title tournament with the Dominion champion, "Lofty” Blomfield, will make a reappearance in Christchurch on Tuesday night, when he will meet the British Empire champion, Earl McCready The massive Canadian only this week arrived back from Australia, where he enjoyed highly successful competition, being unbeaten in a series of strenuous contests This meeting of the rugged, fast-moving Woods and the powerful, scientific McCready ranks an outstanding end-of-season attraction to wrestling locally. Whatever the outcome, a great match is in prospect between wrestlers of widely dissimilar styles. Intending patrons would be well advised to make early' booking of their seating accommodation, since a capacity house appears likely to witness this match between the two outstanding visiting wrestlers of the season.
