* RECITAL BY MR ERNEST JENNER A programme from composers representative of the different periods in music was given by Mr Ernest Jenner at the meeting of the Society for Imperial Culture on Saturday evening. Mr Jenner introduced each group of works with explanatory notes together with reasons for the selection of the piece. The programme was divided into four groups, the first being taken from composers between the years 1599 and 1750; the second group, a fantasie by Schumann; ■ the third group from Glazounov; and the fourth, a suite by Dohnanyi.
