AUSTRALIAN WARNING TO CANADA
♦ ONE-SIDED AGREEMENTS IN TRADE (Received June 4, 5.10 p.m.) TORONTO, June 3. Mr L. R. MacGregor, the Australian Trade Commissioner in Canada, issued a warning to the Canadian Manufacturers’ Convention that Australia cannot continue agreements which are four to one in Canada’s favour. He said that Australian markets were a substantial (aid to major Canadian industries, and urged the manufacturers to scrutinise the situation carefully.
