BIGGER PROFIT FOR KRUPPS
FIRST DIVIDEND PAID FOR FOURTEEN YEARS (Received January 14, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, January 13. Krupps declared its first dividend for 14 years, of 4 per cent, on a net profit of £1,152,000, compared with £827,000 the previous year. Wages and salaries increased during the year by £1,600,000. The report does not mention armament production, but says that it was necessary to put the entire production equipment into operation and to extend many departments. The administration realises that further great demands will be made in the future.
