EIGHT SURVIVORS IN SHIPWRECK
THIRTY LIVES LOST OFF COAST OF SCOTLAND LONDON, January 13. It has been ascertained that 30 lives were lost in the wreck of the Finnish ship Joanna Thorden off the north-east coast of Scotland. The lifeboat in which originally 25 persons were reported to have left the ship came ashore at South Ronaldsay. It contained only three bodies. The eight survivors are now on their way to Finland.
