ORGAN RECITAL OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC
A selection of Christmas music was given by Dr. J. C. Bradshaw in an organ recital at the Cathedral last evening. The following was the programme:—"Overture" and "Pastoral Symphony" from "The Messiah" (Handel), "Noel Ecossais" (Scotch carol), "Offertoire Upon Two Christmas Themes" (Guillmant), "Noel, with Variations" (Louis d'Aquin), "For Unto Us a Child is Born" (Handel), "The Holy Boy" (John Ireland), "Nazareth" < Gounod), "Rhapsodie sur des Cantiques Bretons" (Saint-Saens), "The March of the Magi Kings" (Dubois), "Pastorale in F Major" (Theodore Kullak), "Festivale March in E Flat" (Franz Lachner).
