SOCIAL AND PERSONAL Dr. and Mrs L. S. Talbot and family, Te Weka street, are spending a holiday at the river. Mr and Mrs E. S. Elworthy (Four Peaks) will spend Christmas with Mrs T R. Kerr (Belmont, Cave), for Christmas. Miss Isabel Duncan, Craighead street, will leave to-morrow for a holiday in Wanganui. Mr and Mrs L. J. O'Connell, Elizabeth street, will leave this week to spend a holiday in Auckland. Mrs H. Bannerman, Sarah street, left yesterday to visit Mrs S. Holmes (Methven).
