♦- U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS AT GRIDIRON DINNER (Received December 22, 9.35 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 22. The four candidates in the recent presidential election, Mr Roosevelt (Democrat), Mr Landon (Republican), Mr Norman Thomas (Socialist), and Mr Earl Browder (Communist), attended the famous annual Gridiron dinner of Washington newspaper correspondents and saw and heard themselves and others connected with the campaign lampooned in skits and songs.
