AUSTRALIAN RIDERS
♦ MONICA PARK SPEEDWAY BOXING NIGHT Bill Melhuish (Newcastle) and Vic Duggan (Woollahra), two young and popular Australian stars, will be featured at Monica Park on Saturday (Boxing Night), when the 1936-37 broadsiding season will be opened. An exceptionally attractive holiday programme has been drawn up for the gala opening, and a record crowd is expected. Melhuish and Duggan are fresh from recent successes in Sydney, and should provide patrons with some spectacular contests. In addition, the local riders will be in full force, and can be relied on to give a good account of themselves. Free parking is again offered patrons, and the prices of admission aie tax free.
