CANTERBURY’S EASY WIN MATCH AGAINST SUBURBAN TEAM -The Canterbury representative team was much too strong for the Suburban Association side in their match at Hagley F ar " yesterday. BRABIN SHIELD TRIAL SECOND GRADE TEAM BEATEN A match played at Hagley Park yesterday between a Brabln Shield trial team and a second-grade team was won by the former by 68 runs on the first innings Batting first, the Brabln Shield side made 202, the opening batsmen. J. Eathorne and R. Shand, giving the team a good start. Eathorne scored 47 before he was dismissed. and Shand 19. The third batsman, A. C. Cade, gave a sound display to score 35. A C.
