V. MCGRATH MAY VISIT NEW ZEALAND
INVITATION TO COMPETE IN CHAMPIONSHIPS

WELLINGTON, October 7.
The last meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association decided to send an invitation to V. B. McGrath to compete in the New Zealand championship tournament. McGrath is at present holder of the men’s singles title. He is also to be asked whether he knows of any other leading Australian player, who would make the trip.
The secretary (Mr H. N. Burns) was asked to draft a report on the possibility of New Zealand entering for the Davis Cup. The report will be considered at the next quarterly meeting of the council.
