JEAN BATTEN IN PARIS
ENTERTAINMENT ARRANGED
(Received' February 23, 8.1 p.m.) „ PARIS, February 22. Jean Batten is promised a great reception in Paris at the week-end, when she will be the guest of the Baronne de Vendeuvre, who has done> much to promote the use of aeroplanes by the Red Cross. Miss Batten will spend the afternoon at the office of the "Figaro," and the evening as the guest of the French Aeronautic Federation.
On Sunday morning she will be entertained at the Caudron-Renault Company's aerodrome. She" will dine at the Cercle Interallie, where the Marquise'de Noailles, who has recently returned from an inspection of Red Cross outposts in Africa, will be a'fellow guest of honour.
