ROME CONFERENCE
THREE POWERS HOLDING PREPARATORY TALKS (Received May 6, 12.20 a.m.) VENICE, May 5. Italy, Austria, and Hungary are conferring on various points in an effort to remove difficulties before the 10 power conference at Rome. Hungary is willing to go to Rome only provided the rearmament of Austria, Hungary,. and Bulgaria is discussed, and that the HungarianJugoslav dispute about the responsibility for the assassination of King Alexander is settled at the meeting of the League of Nations on May 20.
