MODEL YACHTING
—-♦ CHRISTCHURCH CLUB RACES TheChristchiirch Model Yacht Club sailed off the final heats in the special trophy race on Saturday at Victoria Lake, in a light north-easterly breeze. Seven boats competed. Following were the results:— Third Heat —E. Hodge V Kea (handicap 6min 20sec) 1, B. C. Muuro's Dolphin (scr) j2, W. Beauchamp's Avenger (7min 30see) 3, H. 3. Bowlker's Tuna (smin 40sec) 4, J. ' Matthew's Alpha (7min BOsec) 5. Time, 39min. Pinal Heat—Avenger 1, Kea 2, Tuna 3, Alpha 4, Dolphin 5. Time, 35min. The final result was: Alpha and Kea tied for first with 19 points each. Avenger was I third with 16 points, and Dolphin fourth iwith 13 points. On the tie being rasailed [ tho Sea beat the Alpha by » narrow margin.
