PAYMENTS TO GOVERNMENT The receipt of nine amounts totalling £4 12s 6d as cortscience-money is acknowledged by the secretary to the Treasury, Mr A. D. Park, in the latest issue of the New Zealand GaThe amounts, which have been sent by persons unknown, have been forwarded to the various departments concerned, as follows:—The* Treasury, 2s 1 8d and £2 ss; the Mines Depart? ment, 8s; the Railways Department, two amounts of 10s; the Customs Department, 10s and ss.
