TRAMPER LONG OVERDUE
SEARCH IN WAIOHINE GORGE (PSSB9 ASSOCIATION TELBOa&M.) CARTERTON, January 19. More than 20 searchers are now out scouring the region of the Waiohine Gorge in an endeavour to find the missing camper, Harold Goodman, of Greytown, who set out on Christmas Eve on a lone three weeks' holiday in the Tararua Ranges. Goodman is now six days overdue, and despite a strenuous search over a wide-area, the efforts to find him have so far been fruitlecs. The hills are shrouded in low-hang-ing clouds and heavy rain has fallen in places on them, though there has been none in the Wairarapa towns.
