Williams 15, and for Tramways Smith 48, Browne 23, and Dawson 14, batted best. Bowling for Lyttelton, H. Wilson took three for 42, and W. Whitford took two for 13. Magistrate's Court Messrs F. E. Sutton and W. Cleary, Justices of the Peace, presided at the Magistrate's Court on Saturday. Victor John Robert Dawson, a seaman in the steamer Tees, pleaded guilty to stealing butter, valued at 3s, the property of the Westland Shipping Company, Ltd. Sergeant D. Wilson said that Constable W. Sheppard had noticed accused carrying something beneath his coat and had accosted him. Accused admitted to the constable that he had taken the butter. Dawson had been dismissed from the ship. Accused was fined £l, in default seven days' imprisonment. James Morton and John Harold Parsons were charged with fighting in Norwich quay on Friday afternoon. Each maintained that the other was the aggressor. They were both convicted and fined £1 each, in default seven days' imprisonment. They were allowed 14 days in which to pay the fine.
