MOTOR REGISTRATION PLATES
Regulations are contained in the latest issue of the "New Zealand Gazette" amending others relating to motor-err plates. It is provided by Order-in-Council that registration plates affixed to private motor-cars being the property of or regularly used by the Governor-General, may be distinguished by the symbol of a crown alone. Another regulation provides for private-hire or rental cars' a series of numerals from Ito 300 inclusive, without intital letter, and also a series of numerals from 99900 to 999D9 inclusive, preceded by the letter X.
