LINDBERGH BABY CASE
TELLING POINT FOR THE PROSECUTION (Received January 20, 7.5 p.m.) FLEMINGTON, January 18. The prosecution in the Lindbergh baby case developed one of its most telling points against - Hauptmann when it brought into court from his Bronx home a plank on which was written the address and telephone number of Dr. Condon, who wa3 intermediary in the ransom negotiations. These, incidentally, have been changed since 1932. According to police records, when the plank was found Hauptmann said the figures had been copied from the newspapers, but the State attempted to prove that they had never appealed in the press, and were not lis d in the telephone directory.
