♦ SUMNER CLUB The following arc the results of. the race recently flown by the Sunnier Pigeon Flying Club. In ft race from IVaikounUi the birds were liberated at 10.30 a.m. in adverse weather conditions. The winning bird, C. Ford's Drumfire, flew tho distaneo of 18G miles 5-15 yards in f>hr llmin. Wilson's South Sea Lass 1064 In a race from Kaikoura tho birds were liberated in dull weather, a south-west wind prevailing. The winning bird, A. and D. Wilson's Boi de Paris, flew the distance, 104 miles 1273 yds in iihris 27miu. Tho velocities were:— - Yds. a niin. A. and D. Wilson's Roi de Paris 880 A. and W. Wright's Catch Ma .. 88G T. Campion's Freckles .. 873 In a race from Blenheim, the birds were liberated in extremely dull and overcast weather, with a south-east wind prevailing. Tho only bird homing in race time was

Wright's Catch Me .. 800 A race for old birds will be conducted from Clinton at an early date. EAST CHRISTCHURCH CLUB The Katit Christehurch Pigeon Flying Club concluded the south programme on Saturday last with a race from Invorcargill. The birds wore liberated in fine weather and with the head wind slow velocities were recorded. The winner, owned by Mr H. P. Kvnns, flew tho 292 miles 440 yards in 9hr 22inin Slsoc. Moore's Twilight .. 718 11. F. Evans won the south aggregate cup and the special prize for the raoe. P. 0. Crooke was second in the south aggregate.
