GENERAL ELECTION
HON. E. A. RANSOM'S OPINION <PBE3S ASSOCIATION TELEO»AM.) DANNEVIRKE, November 12. Asked whether he could say when the general election was likely to take place, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister for Lands, said that although the question had been talked about individually by the Ministers, it had never been officially discussed by Cabinet "There is no justification for the statement that the election will follow the short session in February," he said.
Mr Ransom was of the opinion that Parliament would run the full course, and that the election would take place about the usual time next year, probably in November.
