GENERAL GODLEY
VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND Advice that General Sir Alexander Godley, who was General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Expeditionary Force at the outbreak of the Great War, will be visiting New Zealand between December 27 and March 15, has been received by the executive of the Christchurch Returned Soldiers' Association from the New Zealand headquarters of the association. The circular states that the probable date of General Godley's arrival at Bluff will be December 27. He will be in Oamaru on January 7 and 8; Timaru, January 8 to 14; Ashburton, January 14 to 16; Christchurch, January 16 to 23; Hokitika, January 23 and 24; Franz Josef, January 24 to 28; Westport, January 28 and 29; Nelson, January 29 and 30; and Blenheim, January 30 and 31.
